Bullfrog 5K
Since 2005, the Black Swamp Benefit has sponsored a 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for Sunshine and MCC. The event takes place on the third Saturday in June at 7:30 a.m. The race starts on the track in front of the fairgrounds grandstand and winds its way down County Road J before returning to the track for the finish. Pre-registrations are $15 and must be postmarked by June 1 to be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Day of race registrations are $20 and t-shirts will be handed out as supplies last. Awards are presented to the overall male and female winners as well as the master (40+) male and female. Awards are presented to the top three runners in each age group.
