Mud Volleyball Tournament
A committee of student youth leaders from across Northwest Ohio plans and organizes youth events for the Black Swamp Benefit Bazaar.
Since 2005, the Youth Planning Committee has hosted a wildly popular Oozeball Tournament. On the third Saturday in June, during the Black Swamp Benefit, a section of the fairgrounds is turned back into a swamp for the mud volleyball tournament. The double elimination tourney features co-ed teams of 5-6 players and three mud pits to keep play fast and exciting. Two age divisions, "Bullfrog" ages 16 and up, and "Tadpole" ages 16 and under, are offered. Christian music station YesFM will be announcing and broadcasting the event. The entry fee is $60 for teams that register by June 1. All players will receive a t-shirt. After June 1 the fee remains $60 but players will not receive a t-shirt.
